METHODS OF DOCUMENTATION & MEASURED DRAWING
PROJECT 1
SKETCHES AND JOURNALS
In this project, we are to observe the site, analyse it's elements and then draw 10 sketches that best brings out the ambiance of the site. Some of the sketches that are required are 1. Genius Loci, 2. Poetic Quality , 3. Cultural Atributes, 4. Technical & construction details. We are then needed to document these sketches in to a booklet form. The drawinga must also be clear to show what are things that we want to express.
LEARNING OUTCIMES:
1. More observant towards surrounding
2. Identify architectural historic structure,
3. Capture the intangible and tangible essence that is contained within the architectural realm.
PROJECT 2
MEASURED DRAWING
LEARNING OUTCOMES:
1. Recomend the appropriate method of architectural historic documentation.
2. Recognize and recall techniques of measured drawing and documentation.
3. Explain the as-built building constructions, architectural details and elements.
4. Interpret historic architectural elements, structure and building.
5. Execute fieldwork and hands-on measurement exercise.
6. Translate measured data into scaled drawings.
7. Produce a report on the building, highlighting its importance and historical significance.

LEARNING OUTCOMES:
1. Explain the application of architectural historic documents
2.Describe architectural cultural heritage
3.Elaborate the relationship between architecture and the significance of the building as well as its inhabitation
REFLECTION
Through out the project i have learnt that teamwork is the essence. Without teamwork we would not be able to finish all the work on time. Also i have learnt a new software and also new tectniques which can be used for the time to come as an architect. Overall, i had fun while going through this assignment and was priviledged to have good lecturers to guide us through this project, and also not to forget, an amzing bunch of groupmates.
